I got my computer I won on ebay yesterday via UPS. I really hate UPS. They whip their packages around and as a result, the hard drive was hangin down on top of the video card. I seated the hard drive and it ended up working ok. I put more ram and a new video card in it too so it's sick. Here's what I'm running:

OK so last week my broher was istening to WBRU trying to win tickets to Lollapalooza in Chicago. He gets through and of course he isn't 21 so I give him my info. He ends up winning the Weezer CD and is entered to win the Lollapalooza tickets. Well, HE WON or should I say I WON. We won airfare, hotel stay, and tickets to Lollapalooza in Chicago. I decided that I didn't want to let my bro down so I am gona go even though it screws up Beca and I's vacation. Luckily she is amazing and understands what the deal is. I leave Friday night and return Sunday. Then, I have the whole week off and Beca and I are heading to Maine. YEAAAAAA!

Carolyn N. (Goslow) Aubrey, 63
SHREWSBURY— Carolyn N. (Goslow) Aubrey, 63, of 22 Anglin Lane, Shrewsbury a retired Administrative Assistant, died Sunday in her home after an illness.
She is survived by her daughter, and son in law; Kim and Patrick Killoran of Worcester, 2 grandsons; Matthew, and Michael Killoran, of Worcester, and 3 brothers; Charles D., Dennis A., and Earl J. Goslow all of Worcester.
She was born in Worcester daughter of the late Charles E. And Catherine (Chronzak) Goslow, AND was educated in Worcester schools.
She worked for NStar as an administrative assistant, retiring in 1999 due to illness.
She was a member of the Lake Quinsigamond Watershed Association. She loved her home on the lake, enjoyed music and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially, her grandsons, Matthew and Michael.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday from 5-7 in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Funeral home. Donations may be made to: UMASS Memorial Foundation, 1 Biotech, 365 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605

| Something funny that happened to me yesterday... |

I went with Beca to meet my family at Longhorn for my brother's birthday. We saw Beca's parents driving next to us and thye told us they were going to TGI Friday's. So we ate and left to meet them at TGIF's for a bit. Well, they were there with her mom's friend and her boyfriend. The boyfriend was this big Italian guy who looked like a hard ass. So, he starts busting my balls asking me how much I drank (2 Guinesses)and if I smoke pot and shit and I busted his balls back. Beca's dad says somethign about me being Irish and that I could drink the big Italian guy under the table. He doesn't take it lightly and starts ordering shots. He orders a shot of VO(whiskey)for him and I. I take the shot and he busts my balls a little more. Then he orders a buttery nipple for both of us. Beca's dad then orders us shots of goldschlager and we take those. The Italian guy orders a shot of Jager for me and Beca's dad. So within 10 minutes, I had to take 4 shots to prove my manhood to this guy because he was very intimidating. He then brings up sex and I tell him that Beca and I have bunkbeds which was one of the most awkward moments. We left a little while after and he pulls me aside and tells me that I need to be a good boy or else he has some friends who have some friends and it would be a shame if they have to pay a visit to me. It was fucking hilarious.

So I bought the new issue of AP (Alternative Press) and there are some awesome articles. First of all, there is a history of LIFETIME in their own words which is amazing. The other one that I read is Chino Moreno interviewing Ken Andrews of FAILURE, YEAR OF THE RABBIT, etc.. I am impressed with that magazine.
Oh P.S. - I'm going to see the Red Sox on Saturday. Woo! |
